Can’t really believe I am now having to write this to announce the passing of Theresa. Regardless of the massive impact on a business side, I have lost my wife, after 22 years together, Joe and Molly have both lost their mum at the tender age of just 40 years old and Andy his close cousin.

Theresa was always a determined person all her life from fighting for her life when she was born at just 1 ½ lb defying the odds to survive.

Her vision was to start her own business after years of experience within Recruitment with the aim to create a family run company, providing honest recruitment with equal respect for both clients and candidates. The vision was to provide a legacy for her family which included starting the business in 2014 with Marian, her mum.

Theresa had a great sense of humour and enjoyed nothing more that laughing (Loudly!) at her own jokes and with a keen imagination could almost bring anything to life with a silly voice or story, including ‘Flo’, a hand puppet which still sits proudly in our office.

It’s been a great loss, Theresa had a heart of gold and would put herself out for anyone in need, always there to listen to and help with other people’s problems without passing judgement or indeed thinking of herself, this being one her best qualities.

We all miss you dearly and will try to continue to, both live our lives and continue to run the business how you would have wanted, continuing your values and morals.

We are all lucky to have known you for this short time, not long enough, you’re never far from our hearts.

tributeIt’s with great sadness to let everyone know that not only did I lose my mum, best friend and Joe his grandma but also an amazing, comical and talented work colleague suddenly this year.

Marian set up James Recruitment Services over 2 years ago with me, and due to her previous work history working in plant hire, she not only gained new clients, but was excellent at placing candidates in roles due to her understanding and knowledge of the skill sets and industry.

Shortly after Joseph, my son and Marian’s grandson joined the team. We were elated as the business was growing and we were all working together to grow the business as a family.

Marian is missed very much by all of us here. We miss her laughter and the fun she brought to the office, but we have carried on her legacy by expanding the team to family member Andrew, and also Mark who worked with Marian for over 20 years in plant hire. Mark will continue to build on and maintain the relationships she had within this industry.

We are determined to continue and build the business and it’s going from strength to strength.
You would be proud of us and if it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t be where we are today.
