Working with the Local Community

We have recently been looking to focus on working closely within our local community by giving some of our time and support to events within local schools. We have been invited to attend a number of events organised by Boothroyd Primary School to provide support for parents who are looking to get back in to work or education.

This has been a great opportunity for us to both, speak with local people and be able to provide an insight in to our business and how our industry works. Helping job seekers to ensure the dozens of agencies out there can see their potential, skills and aspirations, when looking for a new career or just looking to get back into work after spending time raising the next generation of kids once they start school.

Any other schools or colleges who are looking to run similar events in and around the West Yorkshire area we would be happy to assist, please contact us.

We have produced a brief ‘Candidate Guide’ which provides an introduction to our business and who we are, but more importantly provides some useful tips and information for Job Seekers to give them the step towards finding the new position which suites both their lifestyle and skills.

We hope by following some simple pointers everyone can increase their chances of finding work by putting their CV’s in front of all recruitment agencies and potential employers looking to find the right candidate and hope it can end in the start in the perfect partnership for both. We see recruiting staff as, similar to “dating”:

Companies are not always just looking for staff to make up the numbers, they are looking for someone to fit in their team for the future.

Candidates are not always just looking for their next pay rise, they are looking for a company they can commit to and a job they enjoy.
